The Heritage Foundation

The Heritage Foundation is a conservative Washington think tank that consistently takes extremist, anti-abortion positions on reproductive rights, including demanding the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Heritage has exported its extremism to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), successfully lobbying the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) — an office led by a former Heritage staffer — to create its new Conscience and Religious Freedom (CFR) Division, which seeks to protect medical professionals that discriminate against patients.
