Administration for Children and Families

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is an operating division of HHS. Under its purview are 21 regional offices as well as designated offices for groups including Native Americans, refugees and victims of human trafficking. The family separation crisis under the Trump administration fell under ACF’s purview.
