Office for Civil Rights

The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) at HHS is charged with enforcing antidiscrimination laws, health privacy laws and conscience laws. This office underwent a radical and extremist makeover under the Trump administration to target LGBTQ people and those seeking reproductive health care in particular. The Biden-Harris administration must work to ensure that OCR is protecting the civil rights of all Americans.
